GOUT AND CARDIOVASCULAR (HEART) STUDY

current-clinical-trialsWe are currently recruiting subjects who are 50 year of age (men) and 55 years of age (female) that have been diagnosed with gout and meet following criteria: history of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular or peripheral vascular disease; and poorly controlled gouty arthritis.

Study Purpose: This is a Phase 3, double-blind, active-controlled study that compares safety of two known gout medications in subjects with significant cardiovascular comorbidities.

Location:  Thornhill, Ontario

Who can Participate?

Men 50 years and older and postmenopausal women 55 and older who

  • Have a history of gout AND meet following criteria: history of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular or peripheral vascular disease; and poorly controlled gouty arthritis.
